Healing

Reverend Leon Shares a sermon on Healing by Reverend Sue from Mark 5:21. At different times of our lives we are likely to plead like the desperate parent, stealthily seek healing while feeling so outcast we cannot make eye contact like the unnamed woman, and at times like the innocent child lie so desperately ill we cannot even seek our own healing. We are all promised joy in the morning. (RCL Lamentations 3:22-33; Psalm 30; 2 Corinthians 8:7-15; and Mark 5:21-43)

Seeds Of Growth

Reverend Leon Shares a sermon by Reverend Sue from Mark 4:26. Jesus did much of his teaching with parables which were filled with everyday images and yet confoundingly challenging and provocative. This week we hear two parables with seeds of growth (RCL Mark 4:26-34). How do they still speak to us in our time and place?
